While we can’t have our regular 2 day extravaganza at East City Park, Ren Fair came up with a way to still celebrate Spring and cherish our community connection with a Renaissance Fair Market on Main Street.
The city has (finally) given approval to the alternative Renaissance Fair plans, which comprises of piggybacking with the Farmers Market on May First, opening day of Market and first day of what is usually 2 days of Renaissance Fair.
The Renaissance Fair Market on Main Street, from 3d st – first street, the north side of Main Street on opening day of Farmers Market, will be on May 1st, from 8-1:00
We plan on having craft booths, DIY kid activities packs that we will give to children who come by, and we will play recorded music from past fairs that will be broadcast on KRFP, 90.3 all weekend.
There will be no food booths or live music, but we will have our Wild Thang Dragon on display.
In addition, we plan on having a sidewalk parade to East City Park, leaving downtown at 2:00, led by our Dragon with accompaniment of the percussionists from the Moscow Volunteer Peace Band.
We look forward to having our regular 2 day event at East City park next year.
